VIRTUAL CAREER FAIR INFORMATION

In the interest of the health of our students, venue staff, and the companies attending our fair, we have made the decision to transition to a Virtual Career Fair for the Fall of 2020. The dates will remain the same (September 23-24). Below you can find all the information you may need in order to have the best Mays Career Fair virtual experience possible. This page will continue to be updated as we learn more.

BSC VIRTUAL DATES AND TIMES

The Virtual BSC Career Fair will take place on September 23-24, 2020 as originally scheduled, and recruiters will be able to interact with students from 10 AM to 4 PM. The dates for the fair have not been affected by the change to a virtual format.


SIMPLICITY VIRTUAL CAREER FAIR PLATFORM

The Virtual Fair will be held on the platform Symplicity, which Business Student Council has utilized for many years for career fair registration. We are excited to continue working with Symplicity and to explore its virtual career fair option that includes great features, such as:

  • 1:1 video chat

  • Resume and Document Sharing

  • Job Listings

  • Compatibility with HireAggies System

  • Group Video Chats


REGISTRATION COSTS AND REFUNDS

Due to the adaptations made to the Fall 2020 Career Fair, BSC will be reducing the cost to attend the fair. The payment deadline is now one week before the first day of the fair on September 16, 2020.

 

The cost to attend the BSC Virtual Career Fair will be $500. This registration cost includes one virtual booth with 4 recruiter passes. Extra recruiter passes may be purchased for $50 each.

If your company has already submitted payment for the Fall Fair, we will begin processing refunds for the difference in the registration fee no later than July 22nd. If you would like to make any changes to your registration, please notify us as soon as possible so we may process the correct amount for the refund.
